What is being romantic?
A bouquet of roses.
A candlelight dinner.
Gifts. Presents. blah blah blah.
It's sad that being romantic are commonly associated with money. It's even sader for guys to believe that by showering their partners with materialistic items are signs of love. well, that is if your girl is a materialistic one.
A bouquet of roses from the florist doesn't beat a bunch of wild flowers you picked on your way to meet her (be very thoughtful in what you choose to pick)
A fancy candlelight dinner at an expensive place doesn't beat a meal whipped up by yourself. What is better than having someone cooking your favourite foods just for you?
I'm not saying that one shouldn't give gifts but do put effort into it. Roses may be known to be as the "romantic" flower, but your partner might prefer something else. Lilies are beautiful. Sunflower can being a smile to just anyone. Chocolates may be everyone's favourite but look, there are thousands and thousands of different chocolates. Do some research. Her favourite brand?
What i mean to say is, it takes time and effort to plan in order to be romantic. Because, it pleases a woman to know that you have been constantly thinking about her. Never, never forget anniversaries, unless you want to come face to face with a bomb.
Just my two cents' worth. Money doesn't bring everything.
