Hongkong Trip (25/09/07 - 29/09/07)
First of all, the weather. It was sunny almost everyday which explains my slight tan now.
miserable In comparison to Singapore, HK has alot more mountains, slopes and tall highways. Most people lead a more fast paced life and the air in Singapore in alot more desirable. cos everyday when i step out of the hotel, i will smell that awful drain smell.
Day 1 (25/09/07)Our flight to HK was at 8.00am and it's my first time on the aeroplane - i was really excited la. Arrive at HK internati0nal airport, safe and sound =) waited for shuttler bus to our hotel and we were the first stop =)

on the flight

found this at the airport
had a slight headache so we took a rest and took MTR to Central.

our first meal
Accidentally found H&M. We love H&M!!! Comb the whole place but didn’t get a thing cos we will be back! Walked to bus terminus to take bus which will bring us to the Peak Tram.

Must snap some pics on the way..

Night... errr... Evening view.
Enjoyed the ride – it was going up hill all the time. Imagine how high I was above the ground… went to Madame Tussauds, which we saw Prince William, Andy Lau, Jay Chou, some political people and… … LEE KUAN YEW!

Trying to show how short he is =P

I must introduce her. She is the singer of Never Let you Go : Janice
Went to the Sky Terrace next. The wind was strong and good enough to make you feel like you are in an air-con room. The view was great and we couldn’t stop taking photos…

from the peak

me.
Macdonald was for dinner. =D went to Temple Street before heading back to hotel – with some accessories bought.
Day 2 (26/09/07)
Left for Central in search for some dim sum shop which could not be found. WHY? The building is demolished la! Settle down at a simple char chan ting. Breakfast.

The yu tiao cheong fun is good!
Went shopping after breakfast. Times Square – jie spend a bomb at Zara cos I bought my birthday gift there. Funny right? We went HK to shop at Zara. We just hope not to see these products in Singapore’s shops. Island Beverly – it’s pretty much like far east. There is a shop that sells earrings at S$4 – really nice one ok! Sogo – big department store.
Next is afternoon tea at Peninsula Hotel (queuing is required!)

no wonder they say i like to take pics of trival things.

food!

enjoying.
Took a walk around the area

Jie and me
YAY!Head back to hotel to drop our things and for a quick rest. Dinner was some super salty food. Food along the streets…

Me with waffles balls.I think we went shopping along Ladies Street as well. Poor memory of mine.
Day 3 (27/09/07)
Finally dim sum for breakfast! It is called Hakka Hut, but how Hakka is that place… honestly, I dunno. We got to wash the utensils before using. One thing I noticed, they put their tea cup on a plate and use the bowl to put food and eat instead. But I was using my plate to eat the whole time, so tourist =P
While waiting for them to open
me washing the chopsticks
Suppose to take a bus to see the Giant Buddha but but but… we stay at Citygate to shop for way too long. I love the outlets there. So we decided to go straight to Disneyland!!!
train from Sunny Bay to DISNEY!!
some lousy photographer took this...
how can he miss that mickey?!?!
Entrance fee was HK$295 and we only took four rides and using the rest of the time to snap photos! Cute Disney characters, cute children and us! I think we took one of the thrilling rides in the park – Space Mountain. Screaming throughout the ride cos we were seated right infront.
All those STITCH!

while waiting for bus back.went shopping at Festival Walk's H&M cos according to the papers, it's their grand opening. too smart for our own good cos it was freaking crowded. but still managed to shop =) head back to hotel for a quick rest before going to a wanton mee shop at Central.

visited the Venetian Macua. pretty. first time at casino.
i like the lamp!
Reach Hongkong Island pretty late. thankfully, we caught the last train cos it will cost us alot to get a cab. dead beat yet have to collect our expenses. we have to do that every night. i'll hit the bed the first thing we are done.
Day 5 (29/09/07)
Last day! breakfast at char chan ting again. Lousy taxi driver made us have to walk under the glaring sun.
pineapple bun and yuanyang
eh... i forgot.
have to do some last minute shopping. Fa Yuan Street!!! we finally manage to go and we love the street!!! too bad we didnt have much time.
along fish market...
rushed back to hotel with the shutter bus back to airport waiting for us. small bus with noisy auntie!!! so we listened to songs all the way. she talked almost the whole journey can!
bought alot of food at the airport. our trolley do not contain luggage but FOOD! krispy kreme. lao po bing. and food bought on other days.
