a love so sweet
A memory on the edge of time, a place where we are so sublime,
A distant dream on a midnights eve somewhere far from acknowledged leaves.
A time in which we fell deeper in love, just like to turtle doves.
We sang our songs and gave our token to remember one single moment.

A moment to remember

Went for baby's match last night and lots of interesting things to see.

  • very frustrated people playing
  • very emotional plus frustrated spectators
  • guys reminiscing their good old bball days

sometimes it feels like I'm focusing more on the people around me rather than the match. In fact, NUS supporters supporter make the whole match interesting x10. From cheering to booing the opponent (dear's team) to critizing their own players. Ha! dear's team was leading the whole time - that explains the frustrations.

make me wonder how people become supporters of individual team. Well, I see mostly are girlfriends. As for NUS, probably schoolmates. The reason I support dear's team (Hornet?) is also because he is in it la. What else! Actually, 11 is quite shuai and 7 is very li hai. Haha. otherwise I would support NUS cos their number 9 is superb in 3 point ball. Though he is not very on form during the recent games.

Anyway, I'm planning to go gym tml. Alone. That's what the loner does =) Honestly, anyone wants to join me? Or ask me out for dinner la. Then I have a excuse not to go gyming. Ha!

it's going to be weekend again! A long one =) hope it goes according to plan. Baking, movie date.

which reminds me, where can I get whipped cream???

Not in the mood to surf internet today, so here to note down all my random thoughts.

Anyway, I'm going to be stuck at Np for another good 2 years - an eventful 2 years I suppose. And I have decided to start some volunteery work - I've chosen a place which is closely link to my dream career - KKHospital. Did I ever mention that I want to work at a hospital? yet to print out the application form though - it's not a easy process. I need two reference as well. Hmm… who?!?! And there will be an interview... And you thought it was easy being one.

was suppose to go singing at the Ten Dollar Club this Saturday, at least we planned to. But, I called and realise that we should book like two weeks in advance. Feel that their service could be better. Not because of this matter, of course.

The conversation went like this:

Me: I would like to make a reservation for this coming Sunday afternoon
Him: Sunday afternoon, booked already.
Me: Oh.. Ok. Then what about Saturday afternoon (ask for fun)?
Him: Also booked.
- PAUSE -
Me: Umm.. Then if I want to make a reservation, how many days in advance should I call?
want to know???

TWO WEEKS!!!

I felt that he should have initiated to tell me. Since he knows that it's such a popular place. That would be a good service. And I dun like the fact that he kept talkin to me in Chinese (other than the greetings). cos I find it very hard to communicate in full Chinese.

Lazy to write more as i have continued for more than a few hours. The office is so cold, i think i'll fall sick again soon.

read this somewhere:
there is this teacher who is notoriously nasty to students who are tardy and has the policy that when he says STOP, the students have to stop writing their papers. Well, one day, he yelled "STOP", all the students stop their work and turn in their papers, except for one. So the teacher thinks, "Ok, let him continue to waste his time." So when the student tried to hand in his paper...
Professor: sorry I can't take your paper.
Student: Why not?
Professor: Because you are late.
Student: (Angrily) Do you know who I am?
Professor: (look at the student) No.
Student: (Raising his voice) Do you know who I am?
Professor: (acting nonchalantly) No.

so the student grab the stack of paper and shove his paper into the middle of the pile and walk off
