Is this a sense of disappointment I am facing? I guess this is quite a first.
Yesterday was quite a dining experience. The good turns out bad, and the bad turns out fine. The un-trustworthiness of hungrygowhere, but still my favourite webby definitely. Brought dear to the highly raved Sweet Indulgence at Stanley Road. Thought we would get lost but realised that i have been to that area before. The food are overpriced, and damn salty (even for me, a tongue for salty food) and i just didn't like it. The spaghetti is slightly uncooked for me and the crayfish came with little fishy smell. And for dear's Chicken Cordon Bleu, it's SALTY!!! The service is fairly good, mainly becos only 2 tables were occupied during lunch time. So what was so bad? The environment. The table cloth was stained with food gravy (ewww), the cushion seat i was sitting on had stains too! And worst of all, there are little creepy crawlies' "Godiva chocolate" on the wall.
on the bus
along the shophouses
complimentary bread
cucumber soup. I actually like it, but it's too SALTY!
Crayfish pasta
Chicken Cordon Bleu

BlackForest Cake - this two tiny pieces and a cup of instant coffee cost $5.50. We are so ripped off!!!

But still, look on the bright side. We're going for buffet at night!!!That's right. It was buffet dinner at Minori @ United Square at night with the guys and Kezia. Rich guy and temporary rich guy treating! No photographs though. Food was fairly good and i think the beef and mushroom left the deepest impression in me. Like totally no link to Japanese food. I find the sashimi alittle not fresh and there are tendons all over! But still, way better than the above =)
Am going to bed!
Grateful for weekends
