Let me side-track a little and post some snapshots from Batam. But first to answer that frequently asked question (Was Batam fun?) I would say yes, though it could have been better if we had brought more money and had more time. So from our experience, we are thinking of heading to harris the next time to get a fair verdict.

After a short exploring trip around the resort, we asked for a taxi to bring us to Nagoya Town. Almost 5 hours on the cab cost us SGD $35 and the nice uncle brought us to a few places and tell us about the places as we went around on the road. Oh yes! I love the way the uncle drives. One word: thrilling!

Afterwhich we went for a swim at the pool. Yes, i swam, to and fro the breath of the pool.

snapshots around turi beach resort - batam

Turi Beach Resort is indeed a nice place, totally no regret in making this our second choice. Just that there are many mosquito lurking around, so prepare insect repellent.

Anyway, LuuLaLa is updating tomorrow. Damn! I look so sick in the pictures. No more impromptu photo shoot again! Love the first dress =)
