a love so sweet
A memory on the edge of time, a place where we are so sublime,
A distant dream on a midnights eve somewhere far from acknowledged leaves.
A time in which we fell deeper in love, just like to turtle doves.
We sang our songs and gave our token to remember one single moment.

A moment to remember

FOOD FOOD FOOD

FOOD = LOVE
that is one simple equation

In another food search mood of mine and today's theme is Dim Sum.

While searching on HGW (as usual), I chance upon Hai Tien Lo 海天楼. Looks like they serve some relatively affordable fares but also a variety of specialities. "Guests can enjoy signature creations at the weekend a la carte buffet brunch such as Imperial Lobster Dumpling and Bird's Nest Egg Tart ... ..." as quoted from Pan Pacific website. Creativity comes with a price but I further read that, they are involved in the National Day Food Treat, thus you can get 44% off. That would be awesome but I couldn't find the promotion statement on their website. ARG!! Anyway, dim sum buffet, not my style.

Next up is Peach Garden 桃苑 (OCBC Centre). Baked BBQ pork pastry. Baked Mini Egg Tart. Steamed Fresh Prawn Dumpling. Steamed Siew Mai with Phoenix prawn. Fried Carrot cake with X.O sauce... All the good reviews are really tempting me.

What's more? Both restaurants mentioned offer a spendid view. 海天楼 is at Pan Pacific's 37th level which means stunning skyline views and the Singapore flyer. 桃苑 is situation at OCBC Building's 33th level, birdeye view of Singapore River!

To end off, I must state another keen-to-visit restaurant: Royal China at Raffles.

Unlike my usual dim sum crave, I am actually thinking of egg tarts and char siew tart now...

boyfriend, are you coming back to bring me to all these places?
