a love so sweet
A memory on the edge of time, a place where we are so sublime,
A distant dream on a midnights eve somewhere far from acknowledged leaves.
A time in which we fell deeper in love, just like to turtle doves.
We sang our songs and gave our token to remember one single moment.

A moment to remember

Birthday celebrations

happy 21st to me!

I really love this birthday because I have been receiving "free meals" at places that I have been thinking of trying. Would weigh myself later though nothing is going to stop me from EATING!

Day 1 Celebration (10 Oct 2009)

Went shopping for present first =)

With our current prized possessions

First stop: Cafebiz @ Traders Hotel

the diners

the food

Having receive warning about its quality of food, I didn't hold much expectations just wanting to make use of the 1-for-1 to give it a try. The place was pretty crowded that night with Caucasians and locals who came with extended families. The variety of spread was pretty good just that they only had one "live-cooking" counter so it makes me wonder how long have my other food been prepared... In fact, there is nothing I would recommend here. It's a quantity over quality type of establishment, totally opposite of my motto.

Day 2 Celebration (11 Oct 2009)

Second stop: Royal China at Raffles

YUMMY!

daddy couldn't make it and that makes 9 of us

Fabulous place, awesome food. Service, nothing to shout about though. It's so typical of me to make reservation and be late, even after pushing it back. It was clearly revealed in the way the service staff talk to us that they are greatly displeased by that. I can't blame them fully for it but it means alot to make customer feel that they are always right. I like: Cheong Fun with Prawn, Char Siew and Fried You Tiao. Char Siew Puff!!! Egg Tart. Glutinous Rice.

And back at home (at night), I had my cake cutting ceremony! Very troubled over what cake to get so it was some hazelnut cake from PRIMA DELI.

Check back soon for Day 3, Day 4 and perhaps, Day 5 =P
