(pin hole scene)
Guess where we went!

long, and what seems like never-ending steps...

"offer fantastic panoramic view" i suppose this is what the website would say but I beg to differ. It's a tense jungle down there blocking my view which does give off a very relaxing vibe though.

boyfriend: look like wall-e!

Yep! That's where we went - Mount Faber or rather Southern Ridge (again!)

Marang Trail was a killer

I am obviously not ready but this is the only shot because the rain drops came right after this photo and I had to run to fetch my camera to seek shelter. Still love the photo =)

Ants attack! While seeking shelter

Still waiting...

Creepy crawly~

yea, we took the lazy people way out =p

love.

pretty scary to look down

just testing whether the structure is stable

ended off at Hort Park (as usual)
And having 'tortured' our bodies for the first half of the afternoon, it is only sensible to treat ourselves to something good =) Took 61 to Holland V and guess what we saw?!?

Read about their first outlet at Joo Chiat and it sounds super inconvenient and far. So, we gave it a try. I didn't ask but I think we were their first customer of the day and of the outlet! Service was good (how can they not be. We were the only two in the shop and there are like... 5 servers?)

grilled pork chop with curry fries and coleslaw. I like the curry fries but the pork chop is umm... tough?

ordered the ham and cheese sandwich but DON'T HAVE! But no regrets for this: Breaded Salmon. It's like tasting the same thing with different textures altogether and the sauce gives it another dimension =) yum yum! Came with original fries which boyfriend enjoys and Caesar salad.

Ordered their signature Nutella Tart which is well, nutella-ish. Boyfriend says "give me some bread." Really too sweet and the tart crust comes with sugar crystal and it came kinda cold. Luckily for them, the boss (i think) came to inform that they usually warm it before serving but because the tart came out rather soft that day, warming it would ruin it. Alright, excuse accepted afterall it's their first day!
The only down side? Their food selection is quite limited but still worth a try. I saw another customer's grilled chicken sandwich (their selection is that limited that I know what it is at a glance) and it looks tempting.

Holland Village gonna be my favourite hangout!
Beautiful day, isn't it?
