a love so sweet
A memory on the edge of time, a place where we are so sublime,
A distant dream on a midnights eve somewhere far from acknowledged leaves.
A time in which we fell deeper in love, just like to turtle doves.
We sang our songs and gave our token to remember one single moment.

A moment to remember

Kuriya @ Raffles City

Doesn't every single picture taken on bus look the same?

Just wanted to share a Japanese restaurant which we visited over the weekend. Haha! We don't get tired of Japanese food. Well, at least I don't. In fact, I am craving for Japanese curry right now.

252 North Bridge Road
#B1-06/07 Raffles City Shopping Centre
Opening Hours:
Mon–Sun12pm–2.30pm, 6pm–10pm

I think the timing reflected on HGW is not very accurate cos we patronise the restaurant in the late afternoon. I read good reviews about this place the night before but to my surprise, the restaurant was barely filled (only one other table).

it all looks good!

We ordered a set each. I had the April special Sakura set which came with choice of (1)Cold Soba, Hot Soba or Udon; (2) Mixed Tempura; (3) Salmon Sashimi; (4) Sushi; (5) teriyaki beef - i think. Oh! And a crepe as dessert =) All these for $27.90++ which I thought was pretty value for money [but we won't be able to afford this often].

Took the Cold Soba. My 2nd time having soba, so I don't think I am in good position to comment about it. But I did exchanged it with boyfriend's Hot Soba in the end which he gladly gave me though he love it just as much =p

Yum!

The surface was cooked slightly before slicing - interesting way of serving. Although I do prefer the usual method, I must say that the sashimi is rather fresh and came with a teeny weeny bit of oil which was fine for me.

The Ebi Tempura is great, could still taste the crispiness after dipping it into the sauce.

Boyfriend had some chicken set or something. (1) Same choice of noodles; (2) Mixed Tempura; (3) Fried Chicken; (4) Tofu. And watermelon =) for just $19.90++

Boyfriend's Hot Soba!

Boyfriend love the sauce so much that he polished them off.

Dessert: Crepe (with fillings that taste alittle like... umm... the colorful kueh)
